Confidant

Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Confidant at useconfidant.com. By using the service you agree to them.

The service

Confidant helps you write, record, and track short-form content, and, if you choose to connect them, view your own Instagram and Meta Ads analytics. Features may change over time.

Your account & connections

You are responsible for your account and for the accounts you connect. You confirm you are authorized to connect any Instagram or ad account you link, and that your use complies with Meta's terms and policies. You can disconnect at any time.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no illegal activity, no attempting to access other users' data, no reverse-engineering or reselling the platform, and no using it to violate any third party's rights or any platform's terms.

Your content

You own the content you create. You grant us only the limited rights needed to operate the service for you (store it, display it back to you, process it through the AI provider you choose). We don't claim ownership and we don't train models on it.

Third-party services

Confidant integrates with third parties including Meta (Instagram API, Marketing API), your chosen AI provider, Supabase, Cloudflare, and Stripe. Your use of those integrations is also subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party outages or changes to their APIs.

Billing

Paid plans, where applicable, are billed through Stripe on the terms shown at checkout. You can cancel per those terms.

Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided "as is." Analytics are sourced from third-party APIs and may be incomplete, delayed, or revised by the provider; do not rely on them as the sole basis for financial decisions. To the maximum extent permitted by law, LOL Media LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.

Termination

You may stop using the service any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination you may request deletion of your data per our Privacy Policy.
